What are the differences between different charger types?
1. Home socket (Level 1) is good for long term charging cars with no option for fast charging standards. Uses AC power.
2. AC-fast charging station (Level 2) is a good solution for cars with powerful on-board charger (15+ kW). Usually on-board chargers are 3-6 kW. Might include risk of overloading infrastructure.
3. Guaranteed charging speed (Level 3) regardless of on-board charger in your vehicle. Does not include risk of overloading infrastructure and hence good for poor infrastructures. Uses DC power.
4. Quick charging stations (Level 3) require powerful infrastructure and are hence very good for short term charging for long distance travels. Uses DC power.
